Alissa always knew she wanted a career in healthcare, and physical therapy quickly became the perfect fit. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a minor in Strength and Conditioning from the University of Delaware in 2010, followed by her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Drexel University in 2013. Alissa is a Certified McKenzie MDT Clinician and has completed additional training in utilizing hippotherapy as an intervention for certain patient populations. Alissa is certified in Vestibular and Concussion Management by the American Institute of Balance. She also completed the nationally recognized “Vestibular Rehabilitation: A Competency-Based Course,” an intensive six-day educational program cosponsored by Emory University, Duke University and the APTA.
Alissa spearheaded Procare’s Vestibular Program over ten years ago and has served as the Clinical Director of Procare’s first Balance Center since its inception in May 2023. She actively educates therapists and students within Procare on evaluating and treating vestibular and concussion patients.
Outside the clinic, Alissa enjoys yoga, strength training, running, horseback riding, and martial arts. She lives in Bucks County with her husband and their three children.
